Rounding Out Spring Dreams 2023 with Legends and Lore

This season, Undawnted has added a few new embellishments to our Spring Dreams lineup.

With combining our seasons with the Hero's Journey, we are tailoring each quarter with a different motif:

Spring Dreams brings science fiction, fantasy, and legends/folklore to life! It is Act I of the Hero's Journey: Beginning of the Adventure. Answer this Call to Action, and become the characters and be your own hero with Undawnted.

This definition will give our audience the action and adventure that comes with swashbuckling hero's such as Robin Hood, of our ground-breaking Hode series. Undawnted brings legends and folklore alive.

After a long, cold winter, readers want to jump into the warm weather, and have their trusted fan favorites to guide them onto their first steps of their journey. Undawnted has also curated future projects to help with our Spring Dreams. Anything to help shed our winter coats and cabin fever.

Additions to our schedule include:

• Metamorphose

June 2022 is Summer Activation Time on Undawnted

Undawnted switches from our Spring Dreams to Summer Time seasonal reads program on June 1st. 

Before that time, Undawnted has stopped updating our Facebook pages and accounts. On May 26th, Facebook forced DL Mullan into a 2-Step Authentication process... meaning this rogue corporation stole her emergency phone number in order to create a tracking leash onto its disabled user. 

Facebook tracks their users throughout the internet. This data is then sold for a profit. That information also is banked for future use to punish users who speak out against the censorship and the inane complaint of "misinformation."

By the way, Misinformation is what you gather from the mainstream media and intelligence operations on social media, not the other way around. If you are unconvinced, then see the Smith-Mundt Act that was updated during the Obama years that allowed the Intelligence Industrial Complex to propagandize Americans.  

Everything is not what it appears. As the revelation took hold, Undawnted turned off cable and the television years ago. Instead of being misled by talking heads, the author began researching what is real... nothing on television, even the news, is real. Real events, yes. Reality, no. A logical paradox has been born.

As a consequence of knowing real knowledge, this disabled woman will have to purchase a new emergency phone with a new number. On a fixed income, that is tragedy. With inflation, it is catastrophic.

In the last few years, corporations have stepped out of the shadows in order to rule us like Divine Right of Kings... I don't know about you, but I never voted in one of these treacherous CEOs into elected office... All this grandstanding is hubris. Their power is based in nothing, but what we give them. 

The power of the elite class is nothing more than a witch's spell. Spells are born of word and intention. If you rescind your consent, by refusing to participate in their schemes to scam you out of your privacy, reality, and creative spirit, then you can return to wholeness again. 

Adults do not need a ruling class of elites. We don't need to be under a conservatorship. The point of voting is to be responsible for our communities and countries. These shadows have corrupted the system for power, control, and profit. 

Why is anyone in the world supporting corporations that hate the people of this Earth? 

It is time people from around the world take a stand against these social media, as well as political and corporate, oligarchs that are using American taxpayer funded technology platforms to implement worldwide communism. That is what Globalism is: corporate control and bureaucratic communism. 

In the meantime, Undawnted will be researching other social media arenas to participate in. Good companies that don't want your information to sell or use against you. Corporations that abide by our privacy rights, as well as assert our rights.

This summer just got a whole lot more interesting!

The First Day of Spring on Undawnted for 2022 Means More of What You Love

It is time for warmer weather, fields of flowers blooming, and aachoo! allergies. 

Spring is also a time for renewal and beginning new projects. We are in the season to create our future. So we take this present and brainstorm. Where would you like to be by autumn? 

Undawnted will continue with creating and publishing more of our art, poetry, and prose in the form of ebooks, shirts, posters, and more. All the while, devising new and innovative ways to inspire our readers of A Novelist Newsletter.

December 23rd: Today is the Last, Last Day of Your... Death?

You are living mythology and you don't even know you are doing it. 

Religions of the past and their current manifestations tell of a man born of a virgin who died and was resurrected.  

Mythology is why solstices are a little more exciting than equinoxes. Solstices are like we hit the edge (Earth's wobble) and at the last possible second, we are saved by someone yanking on our shirt collar.

The mythical aspects of this time of year, winter, is special too. Humans are connected to our Earth cycles from biology to religion. We are now in our death cycle. We will be in the winter season for 88 days and then spring will resurrect us.

For the mythology and literary aspects, December 21 of Winter Solstice is our annual death day. As religion mimics the natural cycles, the sun stays nearly unchanged in the sky for the next three days. That means December 22th, 23rd, 24th are our mythological death. We are Persephone. 

So on December 25th, the sun in the sky begins to move upward once again. That is how the ancient people knew that the Earth cycle was now on its way back to spring time, thus the resurrection. In a few days, everyone on Earth will be resurrected as was the sun gods of ole.

You are living mythology. You are living your death and will be resurrected. So how does it feel to be a sun god? 

Isn't mythology grand? 

 

Now how can you use mythology in your writing (literature)?

Hint: research Dionysus, Persephone, Osiris, Odin, Ganesha, Lemminkainen, Tammuz, Krishna, Quetzalcoatl, Attis...

Then how can you use these gods' qualities in your character(s)? plot?

Special Engagements Now Rotates with the Seasons

Just as Undawnted's Seasonal Reads Program changes from season to season, we have added our Special Engagements to this rotation. 

This combination helps with our seasonal theme and mythology. For instance, this winter's seasonal reads program is Winter Frost with our snowman. 

It's that time of year to bring in some cheer! 

Undawnted keeps the cold and dark nights warm with novels and poetry.

The complimentary imagery of a smaller snowman icon highlights the change of season to our newest addition: Special Engagements and keeps it in line with the rest of our site. 

We hope this navigation is a lot more fluid than before. We know people are more visual on their devices so items like our images will be easier to find for those looking to read, write, or learn with us! 

Creative writing is more than a movie script or image, writing is about taking the world around you, ingesting the nuances, and repackaging the real into the surreal.

Winter Frost Seasonal Reads 2020 Begins

The holidays are being celebrated with parties. Carolers make their rounds through neighborhoods, People shop at the local businesses for gifts. Children have sugar plums dancing in their heads.

Coordinated Look for Special Engagements Seasonal Workshops

Undawnted needed to coordinate the lecture, poetry, and writer's workshops with the Seasonal Reads program. 

So I went through old book cover designs that were created but have not been put into use. I chose a design from an earlier Hode mockup, and then I combined that with my Seasonal Reads images. 

The end products are uniform as well as different for each season. Green and a shamrock for Spring Dreams. Purple and a hummingbird for Summer Time. Orange and a pumpkin wreath for Autumn Cider. Red and a snowman for Winter Frost. 

Each workshop will be linked back to the season it is listed under.

This visualization will keep workshops straight as more and more lectures, poems, and writing workshops are published.

When workshops are then codified into separate mini-course certificates, then there will be no confusion on what course fits into which program. 

So I hope you enjoy the cover designs as well as the workshop series I have created.

New Server; New Projects; New Year of Reads

As you might have seen, Undawnted was down for a few hours as I got the servers switched over from one company to another. I was with Company X for several years but the prices kept going up and up and up. The customer service was unfriendly and lacking in assistance. So saving 66% with Company Y was a bonus. 

I am working on several projects for this year. I want to publish more chapbooks and other odds and ends so that my Seasonal Reads program has more titles to read. Those hard drive kaputs really set me back. I had three novels near completion. Now, I will have to play some catch up. 

So I know that I am behind, (I should just create and wear the Tshirt), but I am hard at work to get back into publishing mode. Poetry chapbooks will be out for this year. I am working on another project that I will launch soon. Then the hope is to begin publishing my book two's of my series. 

If I can keep from injuries and illness, then I can keep on track for this year. With my recent dizzy/black out spell and foot crunch, I was unable to do much for a couple of weeks. I still have a few more weeks of rest and healing but at least now I am not so tired and out of sorts. 

There is nothing like cranky creativity. You have negative energy fueling your exploits but those projects usually get trashed because their energy is so dissatisfying. 

I am really glad I published Turquoise before I got laid up. The energy is positive. The message is positive. The chapbook takes the reader from the lows of love and rejection to self-acceptance. That is satisfying. 

So my 2020 resolution is to get back to the heart of the matter, bring spirit and soul to my projects, and just make this a very productive year.
