Undawnted Expands into Poetry, Prose, and Promo Shorts

Promo Short
Undawnted is still in our Summer Time seasonal reads program (Promo Short), but the month is counting down to September and the beginning of Autumn Cider.

The third and final installment of the Saint series will be published and will have a wide release party later this month. We will continue to provide our creative writing program and projects via A Novelist Idea until the end of the year.

Behind the scenes, Team Undawnted is hard at work creating and uploading poetry and prose shorts to our YouTube Channel. We have added the section: Poetry Slam (Playlist), which will house our poetry videos, including our feature films.

The short videos will also give our readers samples of DL Mullan's prose content. Hear a snippet before you read it! These prose selections will be placed in their appropriate playlists.

As always, the book covers, art, and writings on Undawnted are human derived from the creative imagination, but our shorts and other video compilations are using AI (artificial intelligence)/CGI components to them. These tools allow us to create more variety and expand our entertainment offerings.

We hope you continue to share in our journey.

Have a great and wonderful day.

A Novelist Idea is Expanding with Exclusive Book Release Parties

With the success of Undawnted's Eclipse: Cloaked by Totality Chapbook Release Party, there will be more activities scheduled for the future.

For instance, we have the release of The Story of Vigdis and Adalbrandir to celebrate in June, plus The Story of Excalibur in mid-summer.

Autumn and winter seasonal reads will have another collection of release parties and events as Undawnted establishes the Legacy Universe's mythology with more incredible short stories.

New Server; New Projects; New Year of Reads

As you might have seen, Undawnted was down for a few hours as I got the servers switched over from one company to another. I was with Company X for several years but the prices kept going up and up and up. The customer service was unfriendly and lacking in assistance. So saving 66% with Company Y was a bonus.

I am working on several projects for this year. I want to publish more chapbooks and other odds and ends so that my Seasonal Reads program has more titles to read. Those hard drive kaputs really set me back. I had three novels near completion. Now, I will have to play some catch up.

So I know that I am behind, (I should just create and wear the Tshirt), but I am hard at work to get back into publishing mode. Poetry chapbooks will be out for this year. I am working on another project that I will launch soon. Then the hope is to begin publishing my book two's of my series.

If I can keep from injuries and illness, then I can keep on track for this year. With my recent dizzy/black out spell and foot crunch, I was unable to do much for a couple of weeks. I still have a few more weeks of rest and healing but at least now I am not so tired and out of sorts.

There is nothing like cranky creativity. You have negative energy fueling your exploits but those projects usually get trashed because their energy is so dissatisfying.

I am really glad I published Turquoise before I got laid up. The energy is positive. The message is positive. The chapbook takes the reader from the lows of love and rejection to self-acceptance. That is satisfying.

So my 2020 resolution is to get back to the heart of the matter, bring spirit and soul to my projects, and just make this a very productive year.

What are you anticipating?

Have a great and wonderful day.

2019, Let the Creative Energy Flow

How do you feel today?

It is 2019. The energy has changed and formed a new year. Creativity. Sociability. Boldness. Everything you have come to expect from Undawnted.

While the weather has gotten cold, snow and sleet in the Sonoran Desert this past New Year's Eve, I have been reorganizing and redesigning some of the elements here on the site. Little did I know, the energies of the new year were already helping my creative spirit.

2018 was tough on me. I feel like I did not grow enough as a creator as I would have liked. I did some extraordinary feats, that you would not believe me if I told you anyway, but you might read about when I write my Superfiction novels. Really fantastic adventures for a bed bound cripple.

There was love and betrayal as well as out of this universe friendships. The ups and downs have left me a bit sea sick. Roller coaster rides were never for me. This set of 365, serenity and depth are the key players. I want a positive impact with positive outcomes.

Therefore I have reduced some sections so that I can concentrate on what I can do rather than the hopes and dreams of what I wish to do. When I get more accomplished, then I can start adding back my other projects. Still there is a lot on my plate, creatively speaking of course.

Is there something you would like to see Undawnted do in 2019? A novel? A sequel? Or, maybe it is poetry for you?

Let me know on my social media accounts:
From me to you, Happy New Year! Let 2019 be the year to celebrate creativity!

Plotting My Stargate

Every time I sit down to write, another project pops out of the woodwork.

I am busy with an external source's clothing line, book cover art events, as well as my own creative ideas.

I didn't know summers could be this eventful!

Since I am disabled by illness, my time to be creative everyday is limited. So once I run out of juice, I am done until I can recharge my batteries again. I wish I had solar energy!

Even with the handful of projects swirling around me, I am still outlining and mapping out a future for myself. You cannot move forward in a vacuum, even thought I try. The universe constantly reminds me that plot points have to be set into motion even in our own lives. The stargate of creativity works when you have all the coordinates.

I know my timeline has changed several times especially now that I am permanently disabled. I have to go with the flow. I am in uncharted territory and my stargate malfunctions all the time.

So am I accustomed to having a map that goes in several directions at once. "Scotty, beam me up!" Does that work? Can I change scifi series in the middle of an essay?

No matter your stargate, life does not have to be an endless series of stops and goes. You can decide for yourself where you will want to end up. Follow your stars to change your stars.

You may feel worn or cursed, but I assure you there is light at the end of the tunnel. You just have to know how to program your stargate. Brainstorming, goal setting, and some patience goes a long way.

I have always wanted to be a writer and artist. Disability now gives me that focus. I just wish had a lot more time to be creative.

Life is a set of coordinators. If you are headed in the wrong direction, well, then set a new course.
I'll be waiting in the CafĂ© at the End of the Universe.

Oh, I did it again!

Have a great and wonderful day.

Non Fiction Update

I updated the Non Fiction page.

Apples to Oranges is now represented as well as Believe Feel Know Do It. Complete opposites of each other as one is a philosophical view of the universe and the other is a recipe/storytelling book.

I brainstorm and everything appears to be on track.

2016 will see the culmination of many new projects. Here's to a great year!

Another Day, Another Dollar

I wish I had a dollar!

Today was quiet. I had to stay inside because a neighbor had their weeds sprayed. I wish people would stop using pesticides. Those chemicals are toxic and not good for anything.

Remember if you can't ingest it, why are you using it?

There are far better, easier, safer, and cheaper ways to kill weeds and insects than industrial strength poisons.

Beyond the ritual toxicity of life, I have been really uploading writing projects of mine this week. I hope I find more in my archives to post. It is always exciting to discover a piece of writing you had forgotten about. Plus I have hidden an Easter Egg on the site. That will be a place for little treasures for my readers.

You never know when a coupon code may just pop up there for something I am selling like a book, art piece, or a design of mine.

I'm just sneaky that way.

This weekend I will be piling on more of my archives and maybe I'll find something to post on lulu.com or Amazon.  It's not like I am hurting for words.

Have a safe weekend!
