Why Certain Creative Writes will not be Published on YouTube

Is this stupid or what? Creators of art, poetry, and prose are censored without a jury trial of our peers.

As I was making a list of poems that I wanted to create videos for, I had to strike out a few. One is Imaginary Suicide. Because we have not raised adults in this country and around the world, words are banned.

People are terrified of words.

I'm sorry: what?

Because adults are scared of the alphabet and dictionary, corporations are telling me what my rights are? Perhaps, it is time that we have the return of actual education, and in the process, "unalive" corporations. In legal terms, a corporation has personhood. Yet, I have never seen a corporation go to prison. Have you? So the definition of corporation needs to change, as well as to underline that to do business in our country (the United States) said entities (education and corporations) need to be neutral in all political and social matters.

I am tired of elites using their corporate power, wealth, and extreme belief systems to skew the electorate with disinformation and misinformation, on the right and the left. The first step is to disallow corporations from participating in our elections and culture. These entities are to sell goods and services, not tell me how to run my life. Under the Constitution, that is my right.

Until voters understand how their rights are being stripped by foreign individuals, and the intelligence apparatus, through the flexing of corporate power, then the banning, shadow-banning, and censorship will continue.

Censorship of poems like Imaginary Suicide:

2 Reader's Choice Nominations

"Beautifully expressed. It comes as no surprise that in a world structure as this one finds oneself in a complex emotional equation as this, until it runs its course and takes a turn at some point."

"So real to me, which is a sad reflection though true. I agree...you nailed this!"

"Very imaginative. This is innovative, an interesting perspective and packed with emotion. Your use of language and word choices give this impact."

"Imaginary suicide, what a subject matter for a great creative write, its full with real emotions as are great creative writes Well done and well wrote."

Shouldn't we be demanding the end of censorship?

Have an imaginative day.

Submissions in the Round

Last year I did not submit as many poems to third party sites as I usually do.

Read Earth Changes II
My 2020 goal for submissions was to be more active. I have great poetry and I would like readers to experience my brand of rhyme, free verse, and metaphor. I have been writing for decades, with many positive reviews and critical acclaim.

This seasonal cycle, I would like to expand my audience who may think that poetry is not for them. Then, you have not read my poetry. I write scientific, science fiction, imaginative, and emotive based poems that are not difficult to understand, but will leave an indelible mark on the reader.

I am publishing a few established poems that I have placed in my chapbooks on a few forums online. So if you would like to read some of my poems and leave a review, then please subscribe to Undawnted's YouTube Channel.

I also write poetry for a commission.

Have a great and wonderful day.

Poetry Book Debut in September

The Descent will be released by Sonoran Dawn Studios on September 16th.

I am really excited about publishing my poetry. I hope you enjoy my creativity as much as I enjoyed created the book and its contents.

Some acclaim from readers of my poetry:
"Not usually a poetry fan but someone here recommended I check this book out and I am so glad I did! Wow you are very good - the poems are intelligent, understandable and yet fanatstic! Truly - you are gifted in this arena! My favorites so far... "Upon Reading Edgar Allen Poe and Revenge."
Both the mentioned poems are in this collection.

Have a great and wonderful day!

Latin to Live By

I like learning things. Anything, really.

So I was looking up how to say something in Latin... here we go. I clicked on a link to MIT. There, I got to learn Latin phrases, some funny.

So let's read what we can use in public:

Non calor sed umor est qui nobis incommodat.
It's not the heat, it's the humidity.
Di! Ecce hora! Uxor mea me necabit!
God, look at the time! My wife will kill me!
Estne volumen in toga, an solum tibi libet me videre?
Is that a scroll in your toga, or are you just happy to see me?
Lex clavatoris designati rescindenda est.
The designated hitter rule has got to go.
Sentio aliquos togatos contra me conspirare.
I think some people in togas are plotting against me.
Caesar si viveret, ad remum dareris.
If Caesar were alive, you'd be chained to an oar.
Quantum materiae materietur marmota monax si marmota monax materiam possit materiari?
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

 and more...

Sona si Latine loqueris.
Honk if you speak Latin.
Si Hoc Legere Scis Nimium Eruditionis Habes
If you can read this you're over-educated
Sentio aliquos togatos contra me conspirare.
I think some people in togas are plotting against me.
Vidi Vici Veni
I saw, I conquered, I came
Vacca foeda
Stupid cow
Mihi ignosce. Cum homine de cane debeo congredi.
Excuse me. I've got to see a man about a dog.
Raptus regaliter
Royally screwed
Si hoc signum legere potes, operis boni in rebus Latinus alacribus et fructuosis potiri potes!
If you can read this sign, you can get a good job in the fast-paced, high-paying world of Latin!
Gramen artificiosum odi.
I hate Astroturf.
Nihil curo de ista tua stulta superstitione.
I'm not interested in your dopey religious cult.
Noli me vocare, ego te vocabo.
Don't call me, I'll call you.
Nullo metro compositum est.
It doesn't rhyme.
Non curo. Si metrum non habet, non est poema.
I don't care. If it doesn't rhyme, it isn't a poem.
Fac ut gaudeam.
Make my day.
Braccae illae virides cum subucula rosea et tunica Caledonia-quam elenganter concinnatur!
Those green pants go so well with that pink shirt and the plaid jacket!
Visne saltare? Viam Latam Fungosam scio.
Do you want to dance? I know the Funky Broadway.
Re vera, potas bene.
Say, you sure are drinking a lot.
Utinam barbari spatium proprium tuum invadant!
May barbarians invade your personal space!
Utinam coniurati te in foro interficiant!
May conspirators assassinate you in the mall!
Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant!
May faulty logic undermine your entire philosophy!
Radix lecti
Couch potato
Quo signo nata es?
What's your sign?
O! Plus! Perge! Aio! Hui! Hem!
Oh! More! Go on! Yes! Ooh! Ummm!
Mellita, domi adsum.
Honey, I'm home.
Tam exanimis quam tunica nehru fio.
I am as dead as the nehru jacket.
Ventis secundis, tene cursum.
Go with the flow.
Totum dependeat.
Let it all hang out.
Te precor dulcissime supplex!
Pretty please with a cherry on top!
Magister Mundi sum!
I am the Master of the Universe!
Fac me cocleario vomere!
Gag me with a spoon!
Te audire no possum. Musa sapientum fixa est in aure.
I can't hear you. I have a banana in my ear.
Estne volumen in toga, an solum tibi libet me videre?
Is that a scroll in your toga, or are you just happy to see me?
Prehende uxorem meam, sis!
Take my wife, please!
Quantum materiae materietur marmota monax si marmota monax materiam possit materiari?
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Nihil est--in vita priore ego imperator Romanus fui.
That's nothing--in a previous life I was a Roman Emperor.
Recedite, plebes! Gero rem imperialem!
Stand aside plebians! I am on imperial business.
Vescere bracis meis.
Eat my shorts.
Sic faciunt omnes.
Everyone is doing it.
Fac ut vivas.
Get a life.
Anulos qui animum ostendunt omnes gestemus!
Let's all wear mood rings!
Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam.
I have a catapult. Give me all the money, or I will fling an enormous rock at your head.

And that is our funny Latin lesson for this adventure. The universe only knows what I will find next on the internet and bring here to entertain and educate.

Have a great and wonderful day!

Dreaming while Awake is Life's Gift

I have fallen asleep several times today.

I would write or research then catch myself nestling into my covers for a nap. Even mental work can exhaust me. That is what happens with chronic illness.

Still winter has set in early in the desert southwest and I have settled into my writing mode.

Yule will be here on Monday. Winter solstice arrives and the death of the year commences. The only option is to descend into the belly of the beast to be reborn into mythical heroes in the awakening of spring.

Read your Joseph Campbell.

Even though there will be no Yule tree or presents, I feel so blessed this year. I am grateful for my little fur family, friends, and neighbors. Although the year has been challenging and I am still very ill, I see a bright future at hand.

Writing is my first love. My personal joy. Now that I have goals to attain and be in love while accomplishing those goals seems to be a dream come true.

I wish all my days are filled with awakening dreams of these special gifts.

I hope everybody has a great and wonderful day.

Let's Go Back to the Future

Who would have thought an 80's movie could have such an impact?

I love the Back to the Future movies. What fun. What a treat. I thought once that I would become a movie critic because I had seen so many movies in my youth.

We had a movie theater that had current movies for $3 and popcorn and a drink also cost $3. That fit on my tiny teenage budget. Movies were my getaway. My holidays. My weekends.

I knew movies were not real and just enjoyed them as entertainment, and escape. Today as a writer, I look back at my movie days and understand that a story is a combination of character and plot. Movies were a great way to learn what works and does not work when building your own fantasy world.

I am very grateful to live the day Marty McFly came to in the future. Chronic and disabling illnesses make everyday feel like you have no future, but today marks a significant change in history. Now we can see how far we have come and yet to go.

And, where is my flying car anyway?

Have a great and wonderful future day!

Chateau Du Medan

Paul Cezzane painted the Chateau Du Medan as seen here below.

Chateau Du Medan

Let's stand on the shore
and reminisce about the past
near the shores of the Chateau Du Medan.

A nice warm day rises
with clouds streaming away,
sunbathing as we all wish to do.

The sun rides the ripples
in the river below
to tell us to dance the day away.

What a wonderful time
of green meadows, white clouds,
blue skies, and yellow sun.

I too remember in my dreams
the Chateau Du Medan
as the respite for my waking soul.

Alibis and Other Misnomers

I didn't do it!

Who knows for sure? Do you have an alibi? I sure don't unless you count sleeping a room full of cats. I bet the judge would not allow their testimony in court, now would s/he?

I was thinking of a scene for one of my novels and how I would react to a certain situation. Would I be hurt? Defensive? Offensive? How many four letter words would I use in that moment?

Okay, lots... but what would my character do?

When writing from a character's point of view sometimes it is difficult to cut yourself loose from that moment with them. You have created your own little alibi. I was with my character at the time.

But isn't that the fun of writing?

Have a great and wonderful day!

Budgets, Budgets, Budgets

It seems that every week I am going over my budget.

What did I buy? What did I pay? What has gone through? What hasn't?

Sometimes I just want to throw my ledger out, but then I realize that after all that is said and done I have a few bucks at the end of the month. I can't do anything with a few dollars unless I add it to whatever I have left for next month.

So then I'll have two bucks! hahaha!!!

Writing is a lot like my budget. You put in some more; you take out some more. You have to find a balance or you end up with a bankrupt story.

Now back to dreaming about what I can do with my stash.

Have a great and wonderful day.

Stormy Nights and Restless Mornings

How I love the sound of thunder and rain.

Mostly rain. We need a few good deluges where I live. The desert seeks to rekindle life during its yearly monsoon season.

How I love to watch the fire of lightning, hear the crackle of thunder, and dance in the perceptional. Poems are written on such occasions. I write many myself.

I have lived in the midwest and west coast. I have visited the east coast. Nothing is more energetic and mysterious as the desert monsoon season.

You never know what you are going to get.

Writing is like that. Some days, a writer can write up a storm. Other days: a drought manifests. In the end, writing a good story is what counts.

Ah, the thunder comes again.

I wonder what Mother Nature writes with each passing rain shower.

Have a great and wonderful day!

And That's the Word

When I edit works, other people's or my own, I am always looking for that perfect word.

Merriam Webster online really gets a workout when I am searching for words. Do I mean this or that? Is it spelt correctly? What's in the Thesaurus that might sound better?

And God forbid me to use the same descriptive word twice.

I have got to find words that I can use without misuse and overuse. Bored readers are not what I want. I want people to enjoy as well as understand the pieces.

A tall order to say the least but that's what writing is. It's not just grammar and spell check. Writing is about conveying several ideas at once in a clear, concise, and albeit fun manner.

Because who doesn't want to have fun?

The only secret to writing is making it look easy.

Life is Full of Suprises

I was searching the internet not to long ago and discovered I had been published in another book.

Hahahaha! It is now listed in the Bibliography section of the Press Paquet.  Three Line Poetry Issue #7 is the magazine/chapbook and it is on Amazon just like the other poetry book I was published in. It's funny how submitting for publication works!

That gem was the highlight of my day. Quite a discovery. I guess I better submit more poetry to publishers and see what gets accepted.

Writing is always exciting, isn't it?

Have a great and wonderful day.
