Expanding Food and Recipes

A funny thing happened when I was cleaning the house today: I had to make more laundry soap to do a load of towels.

That situation prompted me to add the series: The Healthy Home Project to the Food and Recipes section of Nonfiction

People, especially Environmental Illness patients, are looking for natural, healthy, and nontoxic solutions to home care. From laundry soap, rinse agents, and house cleaners, I hope to bring to my readers what I personally have created and use in my own life.

I hope you enjoy the health.

Have a great and wonderful day!

Phantom Rain

Rain was on the radar but none fell on my property.

Rain will begin in 14 minutes to a break in the rain will happen in 44 minutes. I look outside: nothing. I hear the monsoon storm's wind and thunder. I look again... Well, I guess there is no rain for my poor landscaping yet another day.

Where is my rain? My plants cry for moisture.

Do I keep on waiting on this phantom rain?

Have a great and wonderful day.

Centrist : The Middle Child of Politics

Well, since I am writing historical and political research essays, I should probably explain my philosophy...

Centrist
The Middle Child of Politics

Before we get into the ins and out of history, politics, and society, we will take a look at the political views of the writer and lecturer.

What is a Centrist? What does that mean for people's rights?

What is your political leanings?

(This essay straddles two worlds; Hstorical Context and Social Constructs.)

War on Women is Now a Topic for Discussion

I have been at it again!

With current attitudes and recent commentary about women's rights, health, and safety, I am now working on a research essay called: War on Women. I take a look at the different arguments and angles about women's rights in our society.

The war on women has been a religious and societal attack for over 100 years. Probably closer to 4 to 5 thousand years have women had to submit to patriarchal misinformation and disinformation about what is and is not "feminine."

When feminism brought women's issues to the forefront of cultural discussion, politics hijacked the message. Wouldn't you like to get back to what being a woman is really about?

See more about my published and upcoming critical essays in the Nonfiction section. For more about topics like War on Women, please see our Social Constructs page.

Knight's Way Crossing Added

I found an archived story: Knight's Way Crossing.

Kaitlin Lane has a problem. Everything about her is fake. Her name is borrowed. Her life belongs to someone else. The one gift that is hers is to speak to the dead.

Don't get excited; she's not.

If you would like to read more about this upcoming release in 2019, visit the Knight's Way Crossing page here on Undawnted!

Have a great and wonderful day.

Inspiration for Booklets

What inspires the writer inside?

I was asked this question recently. What inspires me to write my booklets? Mainly it is frustration.

Surprising? It should not be.

When I chat with people online or read comments at the end of articles, I get frustrated with the lack of information in respondents' remarks. From the complete lack of knowledge on current events, science, or just using common sense, I can see that people are not looking into for that which they speak, but parroting what they hear on television or reading online.

That is frustrating.

So I have been mad and upset when I try to inform people of what is fact versus fiction. [Insert laughter here.] Believe me, that is the truth of the matter. So I came up with this concept. Instead of using the direct approach, I should use the educational approach.

People do not want to read long, heavily footnoted books. People want a quick read that can be done after dinner, before school, or during lunch at work. My booklets fit those scenarios.

Under 50 pages so far and with a bibliography of online resources, usually from the historical or original document, my booklets can be easily read, discerned, and researched by anyone. Problem solved.

So the next time I go online and read propaganda, I can paste the url to one of my booklets and educate people. No more frustration. No more anger. No more propaganda.

I love it when a plan comes together!

Have a great and wonderful day.

Manufactured Consent Now Available for Download

Another booklet has been released but on the subject of voting. Does your vote even count?

This time the research paper garnered its own ISBN! Manufactured Consent is a treatise expounding on politics, law, history, and what is means to be an American.

Our blurb: Voting has become a choice between the greater of two evils. Warring political parties vie for American voters, but is that perception false? Are voters caught in a cycle of picking the same agenda no matter if they go left or right? Discover the history voters were not taught in school and how their rights to govern themselves has turn into the game of Manufactured Consent for those elites willing to do anything for power and greed.

The Heat is On in the Sonoran Desert

120 this coming week.

For good measure, I am getting all my chores done this week. I am going to be hiding out writing in the darkness of my room.

It only seems fair. We had a beautiful and cool month of May. Now the Monsoon needs to be pulled into our deserts for July and August. In order for that to be done, the desert floor needs to be hot, hot, hot! So a small period of extreme heat followed by humidity and rain.

I will see you in October... I am crawling under my rock until then!

To name a few, I hope you return to read more about these topics, and even some poetry and fiction.

So buckle up... and get into the air conditioning! It's going to be hot this summer on the writing front.

Have a great and wonderful day!!!

Busy Little Bee

Well I don't know how I am going to top yesterday's blog post: marijuana is a hot topic! Smoking hot topic?

I was busy again... building a new website: Visual Studios Productions. Now you can see the artistic arm of this organization as I plow ahead. Nothing lost here.

Also we have all our book/booklet projects green lighted. That is very exciting. I have to finish up two different books this month. One for a June 20 publication date and one for July 19. (see our Schedule page.)

It is nice to finally get some writing into the public sphere again. I am as eager to open a dialogue on fronts that are taboo and/or button pushers. I believe that if we get passed talking points and religion, we can sit down and make calm, rational decisions about the topics of the day.

So I hope my take on subjects helps move our individual and national conversation forward.

Have a great and wonderful day!

Added a New Book to Social Constructs

Society is a complex human creation.

Sometimes society is positive. Sometimes it is negative. Most of the time society exists between these two dichotomies.

In our new booklet: Marijuana Legalization, Rights of Others, and Solving Health Issues with Nutrition, we discuss the issues of rights, health, and nutrition.

When it comes down to it, is marijuana a cure-all, or a symptom helper?  Does getting high mask nutritional deficiencies that could be corrected if the user would take responsibility instead of wasting time being intoxicated?

Check Out Our New Nonfiction Page

Do you like science or history or literature or the paranormal?

Our Nonfiction page has something for everyone! Undawnted is excited to present these categories from which I will be publishing booklets and books under these topics.

With a new publication nearly every month of the year, Undawnted is going to replace our old Writing Portfolio with these PDFs and/or EPUBs.

We already have made good by publishing the essay about Environmental Illness called Gaslighting and the Environmental Illness Patient in a series dedicated to helping the chronically ill with their newfound circumstances.

I hope you enjoy all the hard work to make these new possibilities, well, possible!

Upcoming this month!  Uncommon Knowledge.

We get all spooky for this autumn with Haunted Arizona
Don't forget our chapbook: The Descent too!

Check out our Schedule page for more publications slated for release this 2016 Calendar season...

Have a great and wonderful day!!!

To Be or... Just Give Us a Minute

While the Sonoran Desert hit 115 degrees this past weekend, I have been busy inside.

I organized within sections, especially the Nonfiction page. Now Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry have the same flow to them. Choose a link and go to a page with an original book cover and description.

I removed the Writing Portfolios and other sample poetry and writings. Those items will be placed in their own chapbooks instead. It may take awhile before these poems and stories are available again, but they will be in a cleaner, nicer form.

So don't fret!

Undawnted is dedicated to artistic expression through reading, writing, and publication.

See our Schedule of publications on the Sonoran Dawn Studios website. We have many, many new and exciting books coming your way. Most of these publications are FREE. Some for a limited time so make sure to download your favorites when they are re-available!

Thank you!

Have a great and wonderful day!

Working on Dark Poetry Chapbook

Halloween is less than five months away.

Good thing, I began putting together a dark poetry chapbook then... This ebook will publish some fan favorites as well as new poetry that our readers have not seen yet.

This chapbook is called The Descent. Here's our workup on the Chapbooks page in the Poetry section of Undawnted:
This chapbook houses "a darker breed of poetry." Just in time for Halloween! Fan favorites like The Collection, Death Replies to Emily Dickinson, and Breathe will make their presence known. Plus new poetry that has yet to be seen by the general public.
So get out your Ouija boards; it's time to divinate great poetry!

We cannot wait for the September 16th debut!
