Against the Grain, I'm a Wrtier, the Universe Says So

Writing is a great creative outlet. So is doing my own book cover designs. I get the whole ambience and a sense of accomplishment.

With everything going on and technology failures taking most of my creative originals into the creepy deep, I thought it was time just to do something else. I should have known I was not going to get off that easy.

So I do this angel card reading with an intuitive. I patronize as many locals as I can and give props to people who help me. I am on Facebook Live with Bob the Psychic one morning and he gives me the news I dread to hear... Robert Jerome does these freebies on Tuesdays when he has a chance and I put in my name on the list to see if the universe has a message for me or not.

After I had already put my feet up and started binge watching shows because I retired myself from creative writing and design, I get this reading that I have gotten off my path about the time I gave it all up. Really? Now you tell me? I have been wondering for quite awhile what I should be doing with myself.

I know I have many stories to tell and characters keep me company on days I am unable to expend energy to get out of bed, but now my little endeavor has been noticed by the omnipotent universe.

Pop quiz, hot shot... you thought that writing would build a community you could enjoy but found out many writers are in political and social cliques while others just don't care and the rest like yourself dangle in the wind wondering where this camaraderie could be... what do you do? What... do you do?

Some of us thought that we should give the writing community a good try and if that try went nowhere then this meant that that avenue was not our path. WRONG.

The universe has decided as for now Undawnted is my place of creative writing residence.

Against the grain, I am going to stick to it. I still have stories to write. The universe seems to be amused with that.

It seems to be the only one.

Have a great and wonderful day!

Plotting My Stargate

Every time I sit down to write, another project pops out of the woodwork.

I am busy with an external source's clothing line, book cover art events, as well as my own creative ideas.

I didn't know summers could be this eventful!

Since I am disabled by illness, my time to be creative everyday is limited. So once I run out of juice, I am done until I can recharge my batteries again. I wish I had solar energy!

Even with the handful of projects swirling around me, I am still outlining and mapping out a future for myself. You cannot move forward in a vacuum, even thought I try. The universe constantly reminds me that plot points have to be set into motion even in our own lives. The stargate of creativity works when you have all the coordinates.

I know my timeline has changed several times especially now that I am permanently disabled. I have to go with the flow. I am in uncharted territory and my stargate malfunctions all the time.

So am I accustomed to having a map that goes in several directions at once. "Scotty, beam me up!" Does that work? Can I change scifi series in the middle of an essay?

No matter your stargate, life does not have to be an endless series of stops and goes. You can decide for yourself where you will want to end up. Follow your stars to change your stars.

You may feel worn or cursed, but I assure you there is light at the end of the tunnel. You just have to know how to program your stargate. Brainstorming, goal setting, and some patience goes a long way.

I have always wanted to be a writer and artist. Disability now gives me that focus. I just wish had a lot more time to be creative.

Life is a set of coordinators. If you are headed in the wrong direction, well, then set a new course.
I'll be waiting in the CafĂ© at the End of the Universe.

Oh, I did it again!

Have a great and wonderful day.

Soul Talk and the Christ Consciousness with Truth Frequency

The universe is not what it seems.

I like listening to others who have traveled beyond this plane of existence in order to share with the rest of us what the universe is truly like.

Have a great listen:

Truth Frequency with Chris and Sheree Geo:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWLSuuU6V8c&list=UU1CW21KbWnF2M1poLwq59Dg

Funny, in this discussion Chris Geo explains about a rift in the fabric of our universe by an evil entity, which is fed through evil acts on our planet. That rift is a plot point in one of my speculative fiction novels. I began writing it ten years ago. So there was no influence from his talk.

How the soul talks to us when we think we cannot hear it.

A New Life; A New Path

I love my Rune set.

Runes are a great way to figure out where you are on your spiritual journey. I started this blog/website to begin anew. That is what the Runes told me.

I am to begin a new path.

That is what I like about spiritual divination. I'm not looking for winning lottery numbers, even though that would be nice; I'm seeking knowledge. Knowledge of myself, my path, and the universe.

The Rune I pulled is of completion. My old life, old ways of doing things have come to an end. That is why I have a few projects to do as my priority. Books I need to edit and send out into the publishing world, personal business, and medical issues.

All have culminated into the now.

But I also must ground myself and meditate. Free from external and negative influences, I will prevail.

Positive energy, humor are my guides now. I wonder if the universe means I should watch more Jeff Dunham or Lewis Black? Hmm...

Have a great and wonderful day!

Total Eclipse of the Heart... Lunar Style

What a night it is going to be!

A total lunar eclipse is going to be visible in the Americas... finally. I have been waiting for another eclipse for a while now. We have the one tonight, in October and next May (2015).

I hope I get to see another solar eclipse soon. The last one was fun. A neighbor came out while i was taking photographs and she's said: why is it so dark out here? hahaha!!! Hilarious!

Onto tonight, I have batteries charging, telescope ready, camera on its tripod. After 8pm, I am going to start setting up in my front yard. *Excited*

I love when we get a taste of the universe.

Here is my article on the gazette if you need to know exact times: Total Eclipse of the Heart: Moon Goes Red for April.

Also remember that Mars will be the closet to us until next year as well Saturn will be visible too!

So have fun out there! If I get any cool photos, I will try to post some here.

Have a great and wonderful evening!

Positive Energy and Creation

I am new to the energy work realm relatively speaking to many others on this path.

Even before I began to formally apply positive energy and thinking to situations, the universe was always there guiding me. Last year, I took in a pregnant 9 month old cat and eventually raised her babies. This year mother nature has decided I should host a mother hummingbird and her brood.

For a few weeks, the hummingbird sat on her eggs in the apex of my gazebo. Now she is feeding a hungry crew. In another few short weeks, the babies will leave the nest.

All these happy beginnings surround me.

Is the universe trying to tell me something? Well it's not motherhood and me that is for sure. That dream died with my second collapsed immune system (the black mold incident).  I cannot pass on this disease to anyone. It's not right.

I think the universe is telling me to do a do-over. Start again. Make my own happy beginning.

It seems I am attracting in the animal world what I always wanted for myself: a home, caring family, positive support, and a safe environment in which to thrive.

My only question is: what animal will I be hosting next year?

Giraffes?

Have a great and wonderful day!

A Voice for Your Generation

I've been writing for my local newspaper and my own blog for a little while now.

I have learned to balance the needs of the community with my own. What I cannot cover, I make sure to link to independent news episodes in order to keep everyone current. Or, if I need some time off because my brain is fried or I am: a video it is!

On a personal blog, it's not that easy. I have to write something, right? Something!

I got to thinking: where are the voices of my generation? Where the hell are all the Gen Xers anyway? Did they all succumb to corporate and family life? What happened to our rebellious spirit?

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one out here. That thought led me to the epiphany: I have become the voice I've been searching for. An odd statement for sure, but a true one.

It's not an ego statement. I am doing that job here and with the Gazette. I finally found my voice.

It shouldn't be a voice for a generation; it should be voices. Where is your voice on the current state of affairs in politics, government, medicine, health, food/water/air safety? Where are you?

You don't have to be Generation X to get a blog, website, youtube channel or the like.

Just start saying something. Anything. Be the voice you have been waiting for. It feels good to make a difference in the world.

So what topic makes you verbal? Speak out. Live out loud. It's not too late to become that person your teenage self always wanted you to be. An idealist. A commentator. A rebel.

A role model.

Be the change you want to see in the world and the world will change to meet you. I've had it happen to me. Stories gravitate to me. When you are on your right path, everything falls into place.

Now to finish my fiction and nonfiction books... then we'll be getting somewhere there too!

Sick, well, or in between, you can make this world a better place. Trust me. The universe is on your side when your heart is pure and you love what you're doing.

So go out and be: A Voice for Your Generation.

Have a great and wonderful weekend!

No Country for Old Women

So I had a crappy morning. Terrible nightmares will make anyone a little grumpy, but I soon found someone the universe sent to me as recompense: an old cat.

S/he has now decided that s/he too is going to live in my garage with the other kitties. Everything is fine until food time then this new cat growls while s/he eats. Poor kitty.

I shush the kitty so my others will eat. All except for Irene, my cats have not been aggressive with their meals as they know I hand out equally from the can. Irene has since become quiet when she eats.

However I went inside and got a second can to feed everyone and give some more to this new dark gray and black with long hair cat. S/he looks old. S/he should be in a home with an old woman watching television with s/he on her lap.

I'll wait awhile before attempting a stroke to see if the new cat is skin and bones or not. S/he sppears rather healthy albeit beat up and scared.

I guess that's how it is in the world these days. It's not a place for old women especially if you are a homeless cat.

The universe decided I should shrug off the evil of my former life because it's really not my burden to carry and showed me that I am needed even just to give that TLC I am so famous for to the underprivileged felines of the neighborhood.

Have a great and wonderful evening!

Happy Yule Tidings

December 21st is the customary day of celebration for Yule. It's supposed to be the shortest day of the year. With the long night, the land lays fallow waiting for the warmth of the spring to come.

Pagans have celebrated this day of death and rebirth for as long as humans have marked the cycles.

Other religions have taken the holiday and made it their own through political and religious might. So we have holiday after holiday during the winter season.

I enjoy celebrating today because it feels purer than other days. I am not brainwashed to believe in a birth I know did not happen until March or pressured into being like everyone else. I can be me and celebrate what I chose, when I chose to do it.

Yule for me is about saying good-bye to the old. I have a lot of old to say good-bye to too. This year I have become quite independent as a disabled American. I have my ups and downs, my bad days and my good days. Everyday I am grateful that I can be who I am without ridicule, pressure, or disrespect from others.

I am very ill. Nothing is really going to change that aspect of my life. There is only so many times your immune system can be collapsed, your liver compromised, your renal system infected, and your digestive system attacked to notice that your nervous system, heart, and lungs do not work as they should any longer.

Even though I am in bed more hours of the day than I am in motion, I still am grateful for every day that I am here. I have a lot to do! I am doing my art and writing my books.

I am doubly grateful to be the editor and staff writer for my community online newspaper: the Villa de Paz Gazette. I only hope to continue writing great articles that impact the way people perceive reality.

I am also helping my community fight off a vulture capitalist that wants to destroy our golf course for a housing development. It's nice to be back in the saddle again, even if it's a kid's pony ride.

Yule like other holidays should bring out the best in you.

Be happy. Be grateful. Be open.

The universe is watching and waiting for you to open up to the possibilities that await. So take some time this busy holiday season and make a list. Check it twice. List all the things you are grateful for.

With joy and gratitude in your heart, nothing is impossible: including a miraculous recovery...
