Saint Book Series Release Parties for August Begin!

A Novelist Idea Newsletter has a variety of information on a monthly basis to assist creators use different tools in order to grow their imagination. Another one of the advantages to Undawnted's community is the exclusive release parties. This month, the Saint Trilogy is being published. 

The summer of 2018 saw the original story: Saint in the Big Easy released. With the conclusion of the series this month, DL Mullan has decided to re-release this summer adventure. Here's the scoop:

After a relationship breakup, Eavanlee Zilpha Lewis finds herself wandering in the Saint Louis Cemetery No. 1 in New Orleans. In the evening, she makes a wish on Marie Laveau's tomb. Will she, will she not... find love?

Little did Eavanlee know that her answer lies in the adventure of the heart and soul. A dark, mysterious stranger leads her on a journey past her preconceived notions and straight into the heart of the matter.

Eavanlee did not need the help of spirits, she was born a Saint.

What happens when you discover the only person who can save you is you?

The Saint Trilogy was written for Undawnted's Summer Time Seasonal Reads Program. The book series was intended to be read by the pool, relaxing on a summer vacation. This story is light, but emotionally fulfilling.

Halloween Festivities

Autumn is here and the first of the holidays besides the equinox is Halloween. 

So in celebration of the spooky, Undawnted will be publishing some new and old favorites in compliment to the season.

Ghost in the Hallway

I have had my fair share of haunting experiences in my life.

I have been on ghost/historical tours. I have ventured out and did my own ghost investigations. I have channeled and done mediumship. I have read for others. I have done tarot and rune readings. I work with crystals.

The universe is a concerted mirage of vibrations. When we leave our bodies to the next plane of existence, we too become vibrations. So the idea of another vibration in my house is not daunting to me. 

I am rather curious, but firm. I do stand my ground.

I was in my bathroom brushing my hair when a movement caught my attention. I turned and saw a human form shadow on my hall wall across from me. There was no way I was making that shadow. I observed it rock back and forth then disappear. The shadow person was on the other side of the wall next to me and their consistency was manifesting a shadow across from me.

I knew it was not my imagination when my Bombay cat, Riley, ran into the bathroom and hid under the shower curtain. She came from that room and was scared out of her mind. She only runs and hides like that during thunderstorms.

So I said in a loud voice: "Only Love and Light are allowed in this house." I spewed some more stuff to let beings know, my house is a safe house for light workers and light beings. Evil, exit, stage left. 

I guess I have another outline for a scene or short story. Plus now I have to smudge!

Funny, in this discussion Chris Geo explains about a rift in the fabric of our universe by an evil entity, which is fed through evil acts on our planet. That rift is a plot point in one of my speculative fiction novels. I began writing it ten years ago. So there was no influence from his talk. 

How the soul talks to us when we think we cannot hear it. 

No Country for Old Women

So I had a crappy morning. Terrible nightmares will make anyone a little grumpy, but I soon found someone the universe sent to me as recompense: an old cat.

S/he has now decided that s/he too is going to live in my garage with the other kitties. Everything is fine until food time then this new cat growls while s/he eats. Poor kitty. 

I shush the kitty so my others will eat. All except for Irene, my cats have not been aggressive with their meals as they know I hand out equally from the can. Irene has since become quiet when she eats. 

However I went inside and got a second can to feed everyone and give some more to this new dark gray and black with long hair cat. S/he looks old. S/he should be in a home with an old woman watching television with s/he on her lap.

I'll wait awhile before attempting a stroke to see if the new cat is skin and bones or not. S/he sppears rather healthy albeit beat up and scared.

I guess that's how it is in the world these days. It's not a place for old women especially if you are a homeless cat. 

The universe decided I should shrug off the evil of my former life because it's really not my burden to carry and showed me that I am needed even just to give that TLC I am so famous for to the underprivileged felines of the neighborhood.
