Welcome Sun Gods/Goddesses to Your New Life on the Hero's Journey

Today was the astrotheological day of resurrection.

The day of the Winter Solstice the Earth begins its trek back to Spring. In ancient times, the sun looked like it stalled in the sky for three days. So that is where our mythologies (and religions) get the idea of dying and being resurrected on the third day. The narrative is prevalent in the stories of ole.

For instance, December 21st is the solstice. December 22nd, 23rd, 24th are the sun's immobile days (death). December 25th, the sun moves upward in the sky again and thus the sun (son) is resurrected.

Every winter we go through our own personal hero mythology. This year, we again have been resurrected into our hero journey. We come out the other side and begin a new year. At this time, we make our resolutions, a blueprint, for the coming 365 days.

So take some time and ponder the possibilities. You are on a hero's journey. You died, defeated death, and was resurrected. Your reward is a new year. You are living mythology. You are the hero. You are the god/goddess.

As an enlightened entity, what wisdom do you want to impart on the world? What are your goals? What is important to you?

That is the mindset of a fiction writer creating their next protagonist, threshold to adventure, and positive story.

Have a great and wonderful day.

2019, Let the Creative Energy Flow

How do you feel today?

It is 2019. The energy has changed and formed a new year. Creativity. Sociability. Boldness. Everything you have come to expect from Undawnted.

While the weather has gotten cold, snow and sleet in the Sonoran Desert this past New Year's Eve, I have been reorganizing and redesigning some of the elements here on the site. Little did I know, the energies of the new year were already helping my creative spirit.

2018 was tough on me. I feel like I did not grow enough as a creator as I would have liked. I did some extraordinary feats, that you would not believe me if I told you anyway, but you might read about when I write my Superfiction novels. Really fantastic adventures for a bed bound cripple.

There was love and betrayal as well as out of this universe friendships. The ups and downs have left me a bit sea sick. Roller coaster rides were never for me. This set of 365, serenity and depth are the key players. I want a positive impact with positive outcomes.

Therefore I have reduced some sections so that I can concentrate on what I can do rather than the hopes and dreams of what I wish to do. When I get more accomplished, then I can start adding back my other projects. Still there is a lot on my plate, creatively speaking of course.

Is there something you would like to see Undawnted do in 2019? A novel? A sequel? Or, maybe it is poetry for you?

Let me know on my social media accounts:
From me to you, Happy New Year! Let 2019 be the year to celebrate creativity!

Making the Switch

During this year, the cover art will be making a switch from my full name to DL Mullan

This change is not unusual since my digital art has always been signed this way. I did my new Hode: The Legend Lives Again cover art and ran a poll on my Facebook page as to which looked better. With a resounding YES! DL Mullan signatory won out. Thus the migration over to the new image platform has begun.

My Facebook Page will also change to DL Mullan. That way everything is in alignment and will avoid confusion.

Welcome to the new year and the re-imaging of the brand.

Have a great and wonderful day!

Happy New Year's Eve

This day is a time for reflection and gratitude.

2016 was a year of ups and downs. At first, the year seemed lost to the negative funk, but then turned around at the end of spring.

Then the year ended with a mix of highs and lows.

So today is about releasing the negative and accepting the positive into our lives. To do that, make a list of what you are thankful for.

I wanted to take this moment and thank all of my readers, customers, and fellow writers. Your support and encouragement has been warmly received. I only hope to aspire to greater heights to entertain and inform in this next coming year.

Thank you. I appreciate every good vibration sent my way. I am grateful for the opportunity to write for you.

Have a great and wonderful day!

Writing Resolutions

Finishing up.... that is my 2015.

My Resolution for this year to get some things done. Some writing things. Some art things.

Anything.

With an disabling illness, everything is tentative. I can have energy one day to do some task and then the rest of the week be unable to get out of bed because I used up all my energy on that previous day.

Right now, I am recovering yet again from something my body is deciding to go through.

These days I relax and build up enough in my energy bank to do some tasks on another day.

So as the days are getting longer, warmth returns and so will my imitative... well, that is the hope. What is your hope?

Have a great and wonderful day!
