Author Roberta "Robbie" Eaton Cheadle

Robbie Cheadle is a South African children’s author and poet, with ten children’s books and two poetry books.

The eight Sir Chocolate children’s picture books, co-authored by Robbie and Michael Cheadle, are written in sweet, short rhymes which are easy for young children to follow and are illustrated with pictures of delicious cakes and cake decorations. Each book also includes simple recipes or biscuit art directions that children can make under adult supervision.

Robbie has also published two books for older children, which incorporate recipes that are relevant to the storylines.

Robbie has two adult novels in the paranormal historical and supernatural fantasy genres, published under the name Roberta Eaton Cheadle. She also has short stories, in the horror and paranormal genre, and poems included in several anthologies.

Time Again for Winter Frost Seasonal Reads

Undawnted's seasonal reads program turns the calendar over to December once more and that means it's time for Winter Frost.

Cold nights sitting by the roaring fireplace with hot cocoa in hand is what the chill of winter's frost brings us. 

The holidays are being celebrated with parties. Carolers make their rounds through neighborhoods, People shop at the local businesses for gifts. Children have sugar plums dancing in their heads.

What to do on those long winter's nights? But read, of course!  

Looking Ahead to 2019

There are still housekeeping items to get through before the new year. 

Still 2019 looms. What should I focus on? Poetry? Recipes? Fiction? I am still debating. 

This year was complicated by technical issues. I fixed the problems. The site is up and running again, but I feel out of my rhythm.  That doesn't help. 

So I guess 2019 is when I get my groove back?

I am searching inside myself for that next character I will fall in love with and want to write about. Funny thing about love. She loves me; she loves me knot. 

Maybe I it is not a character I need to fall in love with, perhaps it is taking the time to fall back in love with myself. 

That is where all the creativity springs from and this year has been rougher than others in the recent past. Hope. Friendship. Fear. Betrayal. Loss. Wunderlust. 

Life is stranger than fiction... mine seems to write itself. 

What are your plans for 2019?

Move Over Recipes!

Nonfiction was getting crowded. 

With the help of Sonoran Dawn Studios, publishing company, I revised the Lulu Author Spotlight to accommodate another section. So the Nonfiction essays are listed together. Food and home recipes are now in the section labeled: Recipes! 

That is much better. Less clutter means more fun.

The Healthy Home Project is Well on its Way

Sonoran Dawn Studios published two recipes from the Healthy Home Project.

Non Fiction Update

I updated the Non Fiction page.

Apples to Oranges is now represented as well as Believe Feel Know Do It. Complete opposites of each other as one is a philosophical view of the universe and the other is a recipe/storytelling book. 

I brainstorm and everything appears to be on track. 

2016 will see the culmination of many new projects. Here's to a great year!
