I know some of my readers are excited but perplexed about my nonfiction path.
I am in the middle of writing books of all sorts: fiction, nonfiction, poetry. How I feel on a given day is usually what I am writing. So that slows my process down, but what I discovered really stopped me from pursuing publication is twofold: politics and copyright.
With the world engaged with the TPP/TIPP, I cannot in good conscious publish my books with Lulu, Amazon, or any other online retailer without having the full rights and protections afforded to me as the creator. I do not know how the world will change after these dictates are forced upon us by corporations.
I just can't.
As I speak to people online, in person, and over the phone, I realized I am creating all the hallmarks of various nonfiction books. One person also has invited me to speak on her radio show once she is all set up. I knew then I needed a plan.
I need talking points. I need reference materials. I need ISBN's.
So political ends turned into the fantastic start of Undawnted becoming a publisher.
